Line Issues

February 18th, 2010

We are currently experiencing intermittent outages with our cable line which has lasted between 3-5 minutes. The problem has been traced to the line that runs from our Operations Center to the cable box in the back of the building. That line is over 25 years old.

A line crew is scheduled to come out on Thursday, February 25th to completely repalce that line. We are hoping once the line is replaced, all systems will be back to normal.

Thank you for yoru patience.

PACE Public Voting Begins Today

Congratulations to the final ballot nominees!

The nominations are in, the expert voting is complete, and the public voting begins today for the PACE awards through Polka America Corporation.

There were 28 nominations in the Polish CD category, 18 in the Slovenian, 14 in the Contemtorary, 10 in the Polka Variety, and 143 in the Best New Original Song category.  Through the dozens of Registered Expert voters, DJs and IJs, who submitted nominations and voted in January, our ballot reflects the top ten in each category.

The ballot is open to the public and available on our website at:

 http://www.polkaamericacorporation.org/2009PACEBallot.htm

You do not have to be a member of PAC to vote.  Once your ballot is submitted, it is sent to a number of locations to ensure accuracy of the count.

Voting begins Feb 1 and ends on Feb 28.  Winners of each category will be announced in March.

Please pass the word to everyone about this program.  Banners for your website to link to this voting program are available at:
